Departmental: COMPREHENSIVE ORAL EXAMINATION FOR THE DEGREE DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY

Joshua D. Schmerge will take his comprehensive oral examination for the degree Doctor of Philosophy in Geology on Wednesday May 2, at 8:30 am in room 123 Lindley. Mr. Schmerges dissertation proposal, "Evaluation of the Island Effect Hypothesis as an Explanation for Body Mass Evolution of North American Mammals during the Eocene-Oligocene Transition", has been distributed to members of the Department of Geology faculty. A copy is available for review by the faculty mailboxes. Members of his committee are: Stephen T. Hasiotis, Chair Larry D. Martin, Co-Chair Luis A. Gonzalez Paul A. Selden Robert M. Timm All members of the faculty are encouraged to attend the examination.
