Geology Undergraduate Program

There are various awards and scholarships available to students both through the Geology Department and through other groups and affiliates from the study of geology.  This list is not meant to be comprehensive but a starting point.  It is always an excellent idea to check the main University of Kansas financial website here for scholarships both specific and in general here.

AAPG Foundation Scholarship:

This scholarship is for veterans. The AAPG Foundation features a United States Military Veterans Scholarship Program.  The MVSP is designed to give financial support to veterans who are pursuing their undergraduate degree in geoscience education. The applications are open from January 15 through April 15.  Scholarships can be used for multiple educational expenses, including costs of attendance and awards range from $2,000 to $4,000. For more information please click here.
