Undergraduate Admissions

The Department of Geology offers two curriculum degree plans, a BA and BS. Within the B.S. degree, the department offers the following disciplinary tracks:

  • General Geology
  • Geophysics
  • Engineering
  • Environmental Geology
  • Earth and Space Licensure

Because the study of geology requires preparation in other supportive courses, students should begin meeting major requirements in their first year.

Information and major declaration forms are available in the Geology Department office.
