Research —
Bryan Rodríguez Colón is interested in the geobiological processes behind the formation of modern hypersaline microbialite systems and its implications to astrobiology and planetary science exploration. He also investigates the role of microorganisms in the nucleation and mineralization of magnesium carbonates under low-temperature conditions.
Bryan is also very passionate about science communication—specially to underrepresented Latinx communities—by engaging in social media platforms and by creating bilingual multimedia content.
