Biography

I joined the Kansas Geological Survey at the University of Kansas in 2019, after completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Vermont. Prior to my postdoc work in Vermont, I received my Ph.D. from Duke University in 2017. My research integrates concepts from watershed hydrology, ecosystem ecology, and biogeochemistry to understand how watersheds and river networks transport, modify, and store nutrients and carbon, and how human activities like land use change and climate change modify these processes.
